چکیده
We discuss the production of inflatino the superpartner of the inflaton due to vacuum fluctuations during preheating and argue that they do decay alongwith the inflaton to produce a thermal bath. Therefore they do not survive until nucleosynthsis to pose a threat to it. 1 presented the talk, based on the work in Ref. [13].

Is nonperturbative inflatino production during preheating a real threat to cosmology?
We discuss toy models where supersymmetry is broken due to a nonvanishing time-varying vacuum expectation value of the inflaton field during preheating. We discuss the production of an inflatino, the superpartner of the inflaton, due to vacuum fluctuations and then we argue that they do not survive until nucleosynthesis and decay along with the inflaton to produce a thermal bath after preheatin...
متن کاملNonthermal production of gravitinos and inflatinos in the Inflationary Universe
The success of primordial nucleosynthesis imposes stringent bounds on the abundance of gravitational relics. This is particularly true for gravitinos, which for models with gravitationally mediated supersymmetry breaking are expected to have a mass below the TeV scale and thus to decay only after nucleosynthesis has concluded. We discuss the nonthermal production of gravitinos in models with se...

We study the production of gravitinos during the preheating era after inflation by means of the non-perturbative Bogolyubov technique. Considering only the helicity ±3/2 states, the problem is reduced to the simpler Dirac fermions case. We calculate the production in a particular supergravity model in an expanding universe and obtain the spectrum and number density. Finally we compare the resul...
متن کاملThe cosmological moduli problem and preheating
Many models of supersymmetry breaking, in the context of either supergravity or superstring theories, predict the presence of particles with Planck-suppressed couplings and masses around the weak scale. These particles are generically called moduli. The excessive production of moduli in the early Universe jeopardizes the successful predictions of nucleosynthesis. In this paper we show that the ...
متن کاملThe Inflatino Problem in Supergravity Inflationary Models
We consider the potential problems due to the production of inflatinos and gravitinos after inflation. Inflationary models with a single scale set by the microwave background anisotropies have a low enough reheat temperature to avoid problems with the thermal production of gravitinos. Moreover, the nonthermal production of gravitinos has been shown to be sufficiently small if the sector ultimat...
